检查相机包装套件
检查包装内容物是否齐全，保管好产品保修卡
虽然在购入相机后谁都想马上就开始使用，但首先应对包装内容进行仔细确认和整理。连接相机和外部设备的线缆，还有相机和镜头的保修卡等尤其容易丢失，所以最好在检查完毕后放回包装盒内存好。光盘软件等在完成安装后也应与保修卡等放在一起保管。相机（镜头）的保修卡只有各一份，一定要好好收起来。

准备好电池
将电池装入充电器
找对方向将电池装入充电器内。确认插入到位，以使触点接触良好。
将插头插入插座
将充电器接入电源。充电时橙色指示灯亮起，充电完成后绿色指示灯亮起。空电池充满电需约两小时。
将电池插入相机
打开相机电池仓盖，插入已充满电的电池。插入时应使触点朝向相机内部，在确认方向正确后插入。
不可不知的电池小常识
如果没有电池，数码单反相机连动也不能动。充电前请确认电池是否有损伤，电池触点是否有污垢。电池性能会随湿度和温度变化而变化。特别是在低温地区拍摄时，推荐携带备用电池。非专用电池可能会使相机损坏，购买备用电池时务必选择正确型号的原厂产品。
需另外准备存储卡
相机的套装不包括存储卡，需要另外购买。可根据自己的需求选择存储卡的容量。比如用约1800万像素相机拍摄最高画质的JPEG图像时，一张照片大约为5-10MB，使用8GB的存储卡可以保存1000张以上。大家可以此作为参考。另外，不同相机可使用的存储卡类型有所不同。请认真阅读使用说明书，正确购买自己相机可用的存储卡。

安装镜头

取下镜头后盖和机身盖
取下机身盖和镜头的后盖，准备安装镜头。安装过程中应注意避免灰尘进入相机内部。

对准镜头安装标志嵌入
将镜头的白色标志与机身的白色标志对齐，缓慢平稳地将镜头安装于机身。安装时应注意避免镜头倾斜。

旋转镜头锁紧
镜头插入机身后，沿顺时针方向旋转镜头进行锁定。旋转镜头直至听到固定销到位的声音。

进行相机的初始设置

打开电源
装好电池和镜头后，就可以打开相机电源了。电源开关的位置和形状因机型不同而异，应仔细确认。

设置时区
第一次打开电源时要进行初始设置。通过十字键选择时区后按SET（设置）按钮确定。有些机型不显示时区设置的画面，会显示日期/时间的设置画面。

设置日期和时间
利用十字键设置日期和时间。正确输入当前日期、时间，这会使以后的照片整理工作变得非常轻松。完成设置后，可按下MENU（菜单）按钮，显示设置菜单。

插入存储卡

插入存储卡之前，应首先关闭相机电源。注意电源开关的位置和形状因相机机型不同而异。

将相机适用的储存卡按正确方向插入。使存储卡贴有标签的一面朝向自己插入相机。

关闭存储卡插槽盖，打开电源
将存储卡完全插入存储卡插槽内，关闭插槽盖。注意确认插槽盖关紧。
在室外更换镜头时，应使机身朝下
能够更换镜头是数码单反相机的特征之一，但由于在更换镜头时，机身内部会暴露出来，所以在室外操作时灰尘很容易进入。即使相机有除尘功能，也应该将相机卡口朝下，迅速完成更换镜头的操作。
EF镜头与EF-S镜头的安装标记的区别
EF镜头与EF-S镜头的结构略有差异，为了避免误将EF-S镜头安装于不匹配的相机机身上，设置了专用的白色标志。EF-S镜头应对准机身侧的白色标志牢固安装。另外要注意，EF-S镜头不能用于除APS-C画幅以外的相机。

按机身背面的MENU（菜单）按钮，利用十字键选择设置1菜单中的“格式化存储卡”。
